PUC National’s Legal Department works closely with all PUC schools and PUC National to support with drafts of legal documents, liability risk, case management, and contract processing.
The team is responsible for drafting policies and procedures, recommending edits to corporate documents, and providing templates for forms, notices, and letters. The department also provides advice on various matters including student discipline and contracts. The team supports with the management of Public Records Act requests, parent requests for documents, and litigation.
The department also helps with contract processing by ensuring that service providers submit proper backup documentation.
The PUC National Legal Department provides extensive services directly to the PUC Schools Boards of Trustees. These services include ensuring items are added to the Board agendas, aiding with back-up documentation, and providing presentations and information during the Board meetings.
